Two builders at the edge of what AI can do
Peripheries Studio was founded in 2024 with a focused thesis: the most impactful AI systems won't be single-prompt tools—they'll be autonomous agents that orchestrate complex, multi-step workflows with the precision that high-stakes domains demand.
The gap between what AI can do and what people actually need it to do is a design problem. We exist to close that gap.
The Founders

Scott Everett
Scott grew up on a potato farm in New Brunswick, where he learned how to make things work with the resources at hand. He holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNB with a focus on advanced controls and deep learning.
He founded Eigen Innovations in 2012, before "AI" was a household word. The company built manufacturing intelligence systems and was backed by BDC, NBIF, Globalive, and the Canadian Digital Leaders program. Eigen worked with some of the top 10 Tier 1 automotive suppliers globally and managed $10M+ in funding.
Today, Scott is completing his PhD at UNB in advanced agentic systems while leading AI strategy at Peripheries Studio.

Philip LeBlanc
Philip is fascinated by how environment shapes people and systems. He holds a Master's degree in Design from NSCAD University in Halifax.
He has lived and worked across Canada, Copenhagen, and Tokyo—bringing diverse perspectives on how culture and geography influence design thinking. His background spans fine art, brand work, product design, and now AI experience design.
Philip believes that how we design the interface to intelligence is as important as the intelligence itself.
